Vega Del Moll
The Vega del Moll company is committed to recovering and preserving the natural and cultural heritage and promoting both sustainable regional development and social and cultural activities. Since 2000, the company has been involved in 65 social and cultural activities in collaboration with local and regional authorities. As a result, the quarry is one of the most attractive and outstanding archeological and paleontological site of the Valencian community. Key elements include the education, promotion and recovery support of Visigothic settlement of Els Casals del Mas de Sabater. More than 4.500 remains of Mesozoic vertebrate recovered from 18 distinct fossil-sites with several new species described are remarkable examples of this commitment.
