Construction 2050 Alliance

The Construction 2050 Alliance is a partnership established in 2020 made of more than 50 European organisations representing the actors of the built environment working together to advance the needs and priorities of the wider construction and built-environment sector at the European level. The Construction 2050 Alliance has been established to coordinate common political messages of the construction value chain and raise the political importance of the sector at the European level. Aggregates Europe – UEPG is an active partner of this Industry Alliance, highlighting the stable supply of and need for construction raw materials, such as aggregates.

NEPSI

European Network for Silica

NEPSI is the acronym for the European Network for Silica, formed by the Employee and Employer European sectoral associations having signed the Social Dialogue Agreement on Workers ”Health Protection Through the Good Handling and Use of Crystalline Silica and Products Containing it” on 25 April 2006.

Aggregates Europe – UEPG is a signatory and active member of NEPSI, promoting the biannual NEPSI reporting within the Aggregates Industry, while also industriously participating in the renewal process of the NEPSI tools. Therefore, NEPSI is at the heart of Aggregates Europe – UEPG’s fight against the employees exposure to respirable crystalline silica.

EU-OSHA

European Union information agency for occupational safety and health

EU-OSHA is the European Union information agency for occupational safety and health. Its work contributes to the European Commission’s Strategic Framework on Health and Safety at Work 2021-2027 and other relevant EU strategies and programmes.

Aggregates Europe – UEPG is an Official Partner of EU-OSHA, supporting the agency in its Healthy Workplaces Campaigns.

Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee on Extractive Industries

The sectoral social dialogue committees are established by the European Commission, with due regard for the autonomy of the social partners. They consist of European organisations representing employers and workers. The committees promote the dialogue between the social partners in various sectors at European level.

Aggregates Europe – UEPG is an Official Partner of the Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee on Extractive Industries (SSDCEI).

NEEIP

Non-Energy Extractive Industry Panel

It is a network of 9 non-energy extractive industries, cooperating on common policy areas.

Its members include Aggregates Europe – UEPG, IMA-Europe, Euromines, EU Salt, Eurogypsum.
It includes also associations related by their product to the extractive industry, such as Cembureau and Ceramunie.
