Hengl Mineral GmbH

Since more than 100 years the extraction site of Hengl Company, called the Manhart Mountain ridge, supplies aggregates for road construction, railway ballast and armourstone for flood protection in northern Lower Austria. Together with the flood protection department of Lower Austria, municipalities and the landowner, Hengl Company developed a project to ensure flood protection in this area for hundred years with sustainable social and ecological benefits for the whole community.
