Objective

One of the main aims of the company is the right development of the exploitation project and the fulfillment of preventive and corrective designed measures.

Context

The site is located in wetlands area and in a regional park.

Nowadays, there are several areas into the restoration site, for agricultural (10%) industrial (15%) and natural (75%) uses.

Solution

The company has adapted its restoration plan to the different characteristics of the different uses of the land.

Result

The restoration performance was mainly directed at recovering the forest of the site area, planting almost 6.000 species, most of them being native vegetation, with Pinus Halepensis, the most common in the region.

Also, feeders and troughs for the local fauna have been fitted out, at a first stage, with the aim to favor the colonization. They were later removed.

The project is finalised and the site is now closed, the biodiversity values are still good or even better.
