Almost 70ha have been progressively restored by Tarmac Trading. This includes: a new section of chalk river; fen and marshy grassland; and lakes with shallow reed-fringed margins. At the same time, ancient woodlands have been carefully managed and veteran trees have been protected. The delivery of the cutry park has provided access and recreation opportunities for the local community, but also as an educational resource.
