Van Nieuwpoort Bouwgrondstoffen

Nijmegen, Netherlands

The Grensmaas project is part of the national “Room for the River” programme. The work is performed by Consortium Grensmaas B.V., construction companies and the Dutch Society for Nature Conservation. The work has started in 2008 and ends in 2027. In addition to offering people increased safety, it will also create new natural areas and provide hundreds of jobs. At the end of the project, a nature reserve area of 1,200 hectares will have been realised. Parts of this nature reserve area are already open to the public and highly appreciated by local residents and tourists.
