Objective

The restoration of the gravel extraction area after the end of the exploitation by PREBETONG ÁRIDOS SLU.

Context

After the exploitation of the Badajoz gravel extraction area, PREBETONG ARIDOS (VOTORANTIM Group), had the task of sustainably restore the area, landscaping supply of topsoil and enhancement of new, suitable and fertile land can start.

Actions

This gravel is an example of how an active extraction site can have a very small affected area, where some of the restored areas are used as grasslands, mainly for cattle breeding.
