To optimise the measures currently foreseen for nature and species protection to be effectively realised during and after the extraction. The aim is to improve the current decision-making situation to that targeted conservation measures can be realised without hindering economic interests.

Context

With a sustainable production the quarry Untersiebenbrunn of Wopfinger Transportbeton has minimised during the last 15 years the potential environmental impacts.

Actions

The development of a new Nature Conservation Master Plan in order to achieve a sustainable production of the Untersiebenbrunn Quarry.

Result

Nature conservation through the implementation of individual measures to the different nature and species protection. Reduction of environmental impact and improvement of the existing overall situation. Renaturation concept for the two dredging areas, as future landscaping ponds.
