Mr. Miquel París

Miquel is a young professional serving as the EU Public Affairs Officer at Aggregates Europe - UEPG, holds a Degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Organizations from the University of Barcelona. In his roles as a Mission and Protocol Assistant for the Spanish and Belgian Presidencies of the Council of the European Union, Miquel has acquired valuable experience regarding the internal functioning of the Institutions and the policy-making process at a European level.

Miquel is excited to contribute to implement Aggregates Europe - UEPG's mission, ensuring the commitment of the non-energy extractive industry with carrying operations in a responsible manner, always in hand with the preservation of biodiversity and environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support to the Environment Committee
• Administrative support

• Biodiversity and its management and preservation (Nature Restoration Regulation, Soil Monitoring, Pollinators, Natura 2000)
• Water Management and its derived legislation (Water Framework Directive)
• Air Quality
