Membership

UEPG has 3 Membership categories:

• Full Members: foreseen for national associations in Europe, in compliance with the laws of their respective countries. They represent the interests of sand, gravel and/or stone industry (Aggregates Producers) at national level and at least one third of the total national production volume in that branch of the industry.

• Associate Members: foreseen for an advisory role with no voting right in the Delegates Assembly. They are divided in two groups:
  • Associated Associations: foreseen for associations in Europe, active and recognised on a national basis, which represent the interests of aggregates producers as defined for Full Members, but do not meet the criteria foreseen for Full Members.
  • Associated Companies: foreseen for companies willing to support actively the interests of aggregates producers as defined for Full Members, in countries where there is no Full Member, or the Full Member is not compliant.

• Affiliate Members : Foreseen for an advisory role, with no voting right in the Delegates Assembly. They are divided in two groups:
  • For recognised European or worldwide assocations, representing the interests of aggregates producers as defined for Full Members, but do not meet the criteria for Full or Associate Members;
  • For Associations and companies in other relevant sectors, willing to support actively the interests of the European Aggregates Industry.
